Daniela Guerra²
(Monterrey, 2000) is an artist based in Nuevo León,
México. Guerra’s work focuses both on botany and the female body through a feminist perspective. Her art confronts sociopolitical and patriarchal systems while establishing dialogue with women and their experience. Guerra’s botanical approach to native wildflowers seeks to raise awareness on environmental issues. She is currently studying a
Bachelor in Arts at the University of Monterrey (UDEM) and has been included in exhibitions such as WHEN (Peana, 2022) and Blackboard Failure (Centro Cultural Plaza Fátima, 2022). She is currently an activist with the Mujeres del Agua collective, generating awareness on the recent water crisis in Nuevo León as well as the political stance
women are taking on the matter.
