APPARAN

Apparan is a London based street artist, educator and curator originally from the Canary Islands.

Her work deals with gender empowerment and equality. Her murals usually depict women with colourful long curly hair and strong features. She incorporates surreal elements and positive messages with bold line work, shading and bursts of colour within her creations.

She is a member of different international art collectives like WOM Collective. And she is also the co-founder of Art House Project London through which she has organised and curated dozens of exhibitions bringing House Music and underground art together in different venues in London.
She also co-organises the London International Pasteup Festival which specialises in large collage installations featuring artist from all around the world."
